Late 1988. I used a wheelchair when out and about, but I still stumbled around the house. I stubbornly continued to remain in my beloved basement bedroom, despite several tumbles down the cement stairs (how I never broke anything, I'll never know). >;-)

Late 1988. I took my older boyfriend, Eric, to Greeley University High School's Christmas Ball. That was shortly before I dropped out.

1989 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. I think this is the first time Guy took me to Ann Arbor, which was only fifteen minutes from our apartment in Ypsilanti. We spent the day with Vince Locke, who lived across the highway from us.
