Wildflowers on parade.

ferineWe were stunned by how high the river had been. High banks had eroded and new rough beaches were exposed. The normally parched grasses and shrubs were still flattened from where they had been submerged. Driftwood reached as far as the path. Due to the downpours, all manner of neat wildflower was in bloom. Flowers I've not seen before. |
