Dramatic skies and a juvenile tree swallow.

Dramatic skies over the Fairgrounds park area...

Thunder rumbled toward the end of our walk, so we headed back.

As we're trotting back to the parking lot, we nearly overlooked this swallow (either a Bank or a Tree Swallow, not sure which), sitting still and quiet on the ground near the path. Concerned, we looked it over and saw no apparent injury (we didn't touch it, so it may have been wounded underneath). It eyed us curiously and turned it's head, but it didn't flap it's wings, make a sound, or seem panicked.
