Holy crap, snapple and pop!!!
What an encounter this afternoon. >:-D
This bright-eyed female Sharp-shinned Hawk (thanks for the ID zenosaur and unclekage) caught a sparrow in the courtyard and chowed down meticulously. Dad took thirty photos through the big living room window. It offered a perfect view. I studied it while it ate and afterward it flew up into the Austrian Pine, and then to the neighbor's tree.
I'll break the photos up three at a time. >:-)
