Inside the canopy cottonwood, this natural lean-to looking thing, twigs semingly laid against an old outgrowth from the tree, has been there since I discovered the tree five years ago. It reminds me of something camping fairies would make. >;-)

The orange-brown bits on the natural cottonwood's altar are the Beltane honey-cakes. The vertebrae is from last fall. It had been dragged off and picked clean, but Erik found it in a ditch and returned it.
