"Holy freakin' f-ck!"
Oct. 15th, 2011 09:12 pmAs recently exclaimed by the oddly attractive Lt. Deb Morgan (played by Jennifer Carpenter), Dexter the serial killer's sister on Showtime's excellent series Dexter. A most fitting summation of the last four days, those three simple words.
Not more than a few minutes after firing off a few emails on Tuesday and adding some icons, I felt a sore throat stuffing up my ears and plugging my nose. I fought to deny it, as Saturday would be gorgeous (which, of course, it was), and I was to do a fun photo shoot in the wild showing off my new Halloween costume.
So, naturally, when I woke on Wednesday, you guessed it--full blown head cold from hell. Holy freakin' f-ck.
Of course, the silver lining is that this is simply a sucktastic--yet perfectly normal--head cold, as opposed to those freaky random fever-riddled septic UTI life-threatening escapades.
It was so perfect outside today, though I couldn't hang out with anyone. Suck! I was able to open the door and windows and air the hovel out a bit, which felt good. And I have enough energy to finally haul my sick ass online, so those September 3rd photos will see the light of day tomorrow. So mote it be, and all that jazz...
