Our mission this day was to return to the spot we retrieved the owl skull from weeks prior, and scavenge the rest of the skeletal remains for kusani. After admiring a lone caterpillar on the path, we "off-roaded" through the cottonwood copse and passed poofy dead cattails and neat dried pods...
