Since when did 'Greymuzzle' become a bad word?

'Greymuzzle' began as an AHWW term for an older (not always older age-wise, but someone who had been in the group a long time) animal person. That cropped up around '94. It wasn't serious, merely an affectionate term, and often one of personal respect. Funny how it's become so demonized, not to mention misused/misunderstood.

So kodekitten is in charge of were.net now? Hm. Read her new essays... surprisingly decent, though nothing new. What impressed me (and surprised me) the most, was the last paragraph of her two essays on therianthropy: that it's your journey, your path, and no one else can tell you what you are. It's about damn time some of the newer crowd adopted that tenant, as well as the 'don't rely on websites to determine your therianthropy' spiel. Excellent! Newbies need to know that. Especially on big 'Were'-specific websites.

It amuses me that so many of these folks associated with 'Were' stuff nowadays are people I've never heard of, or they have changed their names to distance themselves from embarrassing old 'personas'. *chuckles evilly*.
